The Tai ar y Cyd project is a unique collaboration between social landlords, government, and industry experts, dedicated to tackling housing challenges in Wales. We are living through a housing and climate crisis. Tai ar y Cyd is supporting social landlords to build better and more sustainable future – one home at a time.
This project brings together 23 social landlords who share a vision of delivering affordable, high-quality homes for future generations. These homes are designed to meet the highest standards of low-carbon performance, guided by a standardised pattern book.
By embracing cutting-edge building techniques and prioritising the use of UK and Welsh timber, we are reducing emissions and helping tenants save money on energy bills.
At the heart of Tai ar y Cyd lies a commitment to quality, efficiency, and sustainability. Every stage of our design and construction process is rooted in the belief that the homes we build today shape the communities of tomorrow. By strengthening the Welsh supply chain and creating green skills opportunities, we are not only supporting the build of new homes but also creating lasting change for Wales.
Together, we are paving the way for high-performing, sustainable, and affordable housing that benefits people, communities, and the planet.
